Remote vehicle purchasing shouldn’t mean buying blindly. Our process is designed to give you the information you need at each stage before deciding to move forward.

1. We Start With You, Not a Vehicle

Before recommending vehicles, one of our trained sales representatives will take the time to understand what you’re actually looking for and how you use your vehicle in everyday life.

We’ll discuss things such as:

• The type and size of vehicle you’re looking for
• How you use your vehicle day to day
• Passenger and cargo requirements
• AWD or 4WD requirements
• Features that are important to you
• Fuel economy considerations
• Your preferred budget or payment range
• Your trade-in, if applicable

If you’re planning to finance your purchase, we’ll offer you the option of completing a credit application early in the process.

3. Send Financing Documents Securely From Home

If a lender requires supporting documentation for your financing approval, you don’t need to drive to Campbell River or send sensitive documents through ordinary email.

Our team can send you secure portal links to provide required documents such as:

• Other documentation requested by the lender

Your salesperson can conduct a live video walkaround with you.

We’ll walk around the exterior, show you the interior, demonstrate important features and show you the condition of the vehicle.

That includes imperfections.

If there’s a scratch, ding, wear or another cosmetic imperfection we can identify, we want you to see it before you decide to buy.

Our objective isn’t to make a used vehicle look perfect on camera. It’s to help make sure the vehicle that arrives is the vehicle you were expecting.

7. Review the Actual Numbers With a Manager

Once you’re comfortable with the vehicle itself, one of our managers will review the transaction with you.

Depending on your purchase, we’ll go over important information such as:

• Vehicle purchase price
• Trade-in value
• Financed amount
• Payment
• Interest rate
• Financing term
• First payment date

This is your opportunity to ask questions and make sure you understand the numbers before proceeding.

If you’re happy with the vehicle and the transaction, we’ll send the appropriate documents electronically through DocuSign so you can review and sign them remotely and secure the vehicle for delivery.

8. A VSA-Licensed Salesperson Personally Delivers Your Vehicle

This is an important part of the Pacific Nations process.

We don’t simply put your vehicle on a transport truck and hope you like it when it arrives.

A VSA-licensed Pacific Nations automotive salesperson will personally bring your vehicle to you.

9. Test Drive the Vehicle When It Arrives

When your salesperson arrives with your vehicle, you’ll have the opportunity to drive it and make sure it feels right before completing the final delivery process.

By this point you’ve already had the opportunity to review the photographs, CARFAX, available inspection information and live video walkaround.

Now you get to experience the vehicle yourself and ask any final questions before registration and insurance are completed.

10. Complete Your Purchase, Registration and Insurance

Once you’re satisfied with the vehicle and ready to complete the purchase, your salesperson will accompany you to a local insurance office.

We’ll go through the required vehicle purchase documents with you, and your new vehicle can then be registered in your name through ICBC.

Once that’s complete, you’re ready to enjoy your new vehicle.

What Happens to My Trade-In?

If you’re trading a vehicle, our salesperson can drive your trade back to Pacific Nations after your new vehicle has been delivered and the transaction has been completed.

If you don’t have a trade-in, we’ll generally arrange for a second driver so our salesperson has transportation back home.
