We appraise using vAuto, which pulls current listings and recently sold comparable vehicles in real time, combined with Canadian Black Book values. Your number reflects what vehicles like yours are actually selling for right now, not what a printed guide said last quarter.

Come in and we’ll turn the monitor around. You’ll see the comparable vehicles, their mileage and condition, and what they sold for. If you think a comparable isn’t fair, say so and we’ll talk it through.
Condition matters, and so does honesty
The online estimate is based on what you tell us, and a short look at the vehicle in person confirms it. Tell us about the scratches and the check engine light up front. It saves a conversation later, and it rarely changes things as much as people expect.

Common questions
Do I have to buy a vehicle from you?
No. Getting an appraisal doesn’t commit you to anything. Plenty of people want to know where they stand before deciding what to do next, and that’s a perfectly good reason to ask.
What if I still owe money on my vehicle?
That’s normal and it isn’t a problem. If your vehicle is worth more than you owe, the difference goes toward your next one. If you owe more than it’s worth, we’ll tell you plainly and walk through the options rather than quietly rolling it into a payment you didn’t expect.
Is the online estimate the final number?
It’s an informed range based on what you tell us, confirmed by a short inspection in person. If the vehicle is as described, the final number lands where the range said it would.
Does a trade-in affect my financing?
It can help. Equity in your trade works like a down payment, which widens what you’re able to look at. Our finance team can walk through what that means for your situation.
How long does an appraisal take?
The online appraisal usually comes back the same day. In person it’s a short inspection and a conversation, not something that takes your afternoon.
Do I need to bring the vehicle to Campbell River?
