CARFAX
CARFAX Canada partner
Free CARFAX report on every vehicle. No form to fill in.
Every listing on our website links to a full BC Verified CARFAX Canada report. You don’t need to give us your name, your email or your phone number to read it. Click and it opens.
Most dealerships treat a vehicle history report as something you have to ask for, or trade your contact details to see. We think you should be able to check the history before you decide whether to call us. If a vehicle has a story, you’re going to find out eventually. Better that it’s now.

What a CARFAX report tells you
Accident and damage history
Past damage is one of the biggest factors in what a vehicle is actually worth. The report shows whether it’s been in an accident and how severe, from a parking lot scrape to structural repair. It’s also the fastest way to understand why one vehicle is priced below another that looks identical.
Canadian lien search
This is the one that catches people out on private sales. If the seller still owes money on the vehicle and doesn’t mention it, the creditor can come after the vehicle after you’ve paid for it. A BC Verified report includes a lien search across participating provinces and territories, so you know the vehicle is actually free to sell.
Open safety recalls
Vehicles change hands, and manufacturers lose track of who owns them. A recall notice mailed to an address from three owners ago never reaches anyone. The report flags recalls that haven’t been completed, which you can then have done at a franchise dealer, usually at no cost.
Where it’s been
Registration history matters more on the coast than people realize. A vehicle that spent five winters on salted Ontario or Prairie roads has had a harder life underneath than one that stayed on Vancouver Island. The report shows you where it’s been registered.
Common questions
Do I have to give you my details to see it?
No. The link sits on every vehicle listing and opens the report directly. No name, no email, no phone number, no form.
Is it on every vehicle or just some of them?
Every vehicle we list. Not just the clean ones.
What if the report shows an accident?
Plenty of good vehicles have been in an accident. What matters is the severity and how it was repaired, and that’s a conversation worth having rather than a reason to walk away automatically. Every vehicle we sell is fully reconditioned and inspected before it’s listed regardless of what the history says.
Should I still get an independent inspection?
If it would make you more comfortable, yes, and we won’t be offended. A history report tells you what’s been reported about a vehicle. It doesn’t tell you the condition of the brakes today. The two answer different questions.
What is a BC Verified report?
It’s the CARFAX Canada report that includes the Canadian lien search alongside the history data. That’s the version we provide.
